A river doesn't ask permission to change course. It finds the path of least resistance, then carves it deeper over time — patient, persistent, unstoppable. But look closely at any river and you'll find it is never just moving forward. It loops, resists, doubles back, accelerates through narrow passages. Direction and flow are not the same thing.
Deep Indigo River understands that distinction.
A hypnotic pink hexagonal path winds through a charged field of saturated greens and purples — structured, deliberate, carrying a kind of coded intelligence. Through it, and against it, a deep indigo current cuts across the entire composition. Not disrupting the path so much as crossing it, intersecting it, existing on a different plane entirely. Arrows embedded in the surface suggest momentum — a shift, a recalibration, a decision already in motion.
Beneath everything, layers of acrylic, ink, gesso and varnish build up a surface dense with history. The depth here is not decorative. It is structural — the visual record of a composition that was found through process, not planned from the outside.
