Every soul that passes through this world chooses, consciously or not, what it navigates by. Some by ambition. Some by fear. Some by love. Some by a force they could never quite name but always felt — a compass that pointed not toward any destination on a map but toward something interior, toward the particular quality of being alive that feels most like truth.
This skull was one of those.
The cross that marks this character is not a religious emblem — it is a navigational instrument. The four directions held simultaneously. The point where the horizontal and the vertical meet, where the earthly journey and the spiritual one intersect in the same body, in the same life, in the same unrepeatable passage through the world. The crossbones below are not a warning. They are the signature of a life that knew what it was made of — flesh and bone and something else entirely, something that the flesh and bone were always only ever carrying.
The kaleidoscopic green field behind the crowned skull is the world this being moved through — vivid, patterned, complex, more beautiful up close than from a distance. A landscape worthy of the life that inhabited it.
