BLUE MORNING

Not everything needs to mean something.

Some mornings arrive without agenda. The light comes in at a particular angle, falls on ordinary objects — a jar, some fruit, a stem with berries — and for a moment the day has not yet demanded anything of you. You are simply there, in the blue quiet before the world remembers you exist.

Blue Morning was painted from that place.

This is not a painting about transformation or transmission or the cosmic architecture of consciousness. It is a painting about a morning. About the particular quality of blue that belongs to early light, before it has warmed into yellow. About the stillness of objects that are simply themselves — not symbols, not vessels of meaning, just things, sitting in the light, doing nothing more than being there.

The washi tape that moves through the composition carries the tactile, collage-based language of where this practice began — a reminder that before the geometric transmissions and the cosmic alignments and the ancient civilisations encoding their wisdom into crop circles, there was an artist in a studio, cutting tape, laying colour, discovering what he was made of through the simplest possible acts of making.

There is more philosophy in a quiet morning than in a hundred grand statements about the universe. The sea. The sky. The light on a window. A glass of water. The particular sound of a city that hasn't woken up yet.

Sometimes stopping is the most advanced thing you can do.
