THE VAULT
There comes a point in any genuine transformation where you cannot pretend anymore.
Not because you have decided to stop pretending — the decision was never really yours to make. It happens the way a fruit rots: slowly, then undeniably, then completely. The version of reality you were handed as a child, the one that told you what was possible and what wasn't, what was real and what was fantasy, what success looked like and what it meant to matter — that version has an expiry date. And once it starts to go, there is no returning it to the shelf.
In the centre of The Vault, the vessel — the artist, the human being as container — sits within a circular geometric structure that glows in metallic gold and copper, surrounded by the accumulated knowledge of a life that stopped accepting the handed version of things and started looking for what was underneath it. The patterns and colours that fill the vault are not decoration. They are the contents — everything received, absorbed, integrated through years of genuine seeking. The universe and the self, no longer in negotiation, simply fused.
And then there is the banana.
Peeled. Rotting. Placed at the edge of all that radiance with the particular honesty of an artist who refuses to paint only the beautiful part of transformation. The old reality doesn't disappear cleanly — it decays. It sits at the periphery of the new understanding, still present, losing its power incrementally, reminding you that the person you used to be was real too and deserves to be acknowledged even as it becomes impossible to go back to.
The vault is not a safe. It is an opening — the place where what you have genuinely earned in understanding is kept, not locked away but concentrated, available, luminous in the gold and copper of a practice that knows exactly what it has found.
